Bath and Body Products;

I have been making bath and body products for around 20 years. It all started for me when store bought diaper rash products gave my children a rash. After trying almost all store products available to me, I decided taking a more natural route. I felt it couldn't hurt.

I began by reading many hours of information on essential oils, fragrance oils, butters, oils, salts, powders, emulsifiers, mica's and natural colorants, along with many other raw materials and their benefits to the skin. I took notes, filled book after book with info and recipe ideas until I was ready to create. With that, I made my very first baby bottom balm about 20 years ago. I infused the herbs in olive and coconut oil in a double boiler, then added skin nourishing essential oils and beeswax to harden. To my surprise, the next morning the rash was gone. I was blown away!! 

I was hooked on creating wonderful body products & Candles you're sure to love. I try to source the most natural ingredients as I can in all the products I make, including natural preservatives when possible. I also source some organic and free-trade products when I have the opportunity to. When possible, I use either recycled or reusable packaging products, along with paper labels. All of the ingredients I use are listed on their individual item pages with a brief description along with benefits. I too had wondered about some of the ingredients used and the level of natural content. I have read up on every product I use, they are as natural as possible.

Candles;

Candle making started for me around the same time as the bath & body products. My big sister Lisa loved making candles. I remember Saturdays were our shopping/get together days. She loved going on road trips to the soap & candle suppliers to see what's new. We'd then go home and start making projects we had purchased ingredients for. She loved smelling and burning candles. Candle making was always my big sisters favorite hobby.

Sadly, my big sister Lisa is no longer with us. However, she has inspired me to continue to make candles. I think of her often, mostly when lighting candles I've made. I know she'd be proud of everything she taught me about candles.

I hope you enjoy my website, reading about my products and pictures of products I make. I make all of my products by hand, no two products will be exactly the same. All of the products I make are photographed by myself. I am in the process of converting into my soap & candle studio. I will post pictures on my website after we have moved in and set up.
